Practice Hours Requirements

Registrants who do not have enough hours to meet their hourly bylaw requirement at the time of renewal should contact the CRNS at renew@crns.ca

Returning To Practice

This section is for you if you would like to return to practice after an extended absence.

Emergency RN Licensure

This section is for you if you are an RN or NP in another Canadian jurisdiction and seeking a license to practice registered nursing in a declared emergency situation in Saskatchewan.

Have You Changed Your Name?

This section is for you if you have changed your name and need to update your information with the CRNS.

Courtesy Educator Licensure

This section is for you if you are an RN or NP in another Canadian jurisdiction and intend to work as an educator in a RN or NP program approved by Council, providing theory courses in online programming or distance delivery, or developing nursing curriculum by distance.

Retired Membership

This section is for you if you intend to apply for a Retired membership with the CRNS.

Non-Practicing Membership

This section is for you if you intend to apply for a Non-Practicing membership with the CRNS.

RN Re-Entry Program

This section is for you if you don’t meet CRNS’s minimum hourly requirement for licensure of 1125 hours in the previous 5 years.
