At the CRNS, we're all about clear communication. We want to ensure that the public, RNs and NPs are well-informed. This helps us achieve two important things:

  1. Setting Standards for Nursing Care: By staying in touch with the public and registrants, we make sure that RNs and NPs know the expectations of their practice.
  2. Empowering Registrants: By providing registrants with timely information, they can continuously improve their practice and reasonably assure  the public receives the best care possible from Saskatchewan RNs and NPs.

We Keep the Public Informed

We enjoy connecting with the public to answer your questions, tell you about what RNs and NPs do, and make sure you know that registrants follow strict guidelines for quality and ethical care. This builds trust and ensures you receive the best health care possible across the province.

We Connect with Registrants

We engage with - registrants to help them stay in the know about guidelines, changing practices, learning opportunities, and resources to help them do their job well. When registrants are well-informed and have support, they provide great care.

We Keep the Public Safe Through Communication

Connecting with registrants is directly related to public safety. When registrants are in the know, it builds trust and reasonably assures public safety so that RNs and NPs:

  • Stay current with practice expectations and follow guidelines to do their job well .
  • Quickly make adjustments in their practice as they arise.
  • Continue to learn and keep apprised of new resources and information.
  • Act ethically and safely, so the public receives the best possible care.
