CRNS License Renewal 2024

Temporary Service Disruption

The first phase of the CRNS’s transition to our new registrant database, Alinity, will go live on Monday, July 22, 2024. Some services will be temporarily paused on Wednesday, July 17 at 2 p.m. to prepare for the change.

The Nurse License Check system and the Continuing Competence Program online platform will not be available during this time and applications will not be processed.

These services will resume on July 22 at 8 a.m. If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the CRNS at info@crns.ca.

The 2024 License Renewal Period is Closed

As of midnight on November 30, 2023, all 2023 licenses have expired. If you have not yet renewed for 2024, call 306.359.4200 to speak with a CRNS staff member.

Annual license renewal is an opportunity to reaffirm your commitment to the values of registered nursing. It is also required to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice [RN(AAP)] in Saskatchewan.

Processing and Renewal Time Frames

All applications will require a minimum of two weeks after submission to be processed. All members must renew their license within the renewal period (September 12, 2023-November 30, 2023). At any other time, this will be treated as a Status Change Request and will be subject to a reinstatement fee in addition to licensing fees.
